About Connie Ramsey Venturin

I grew up in the rural area of London Ontario and have always been an avid reader, so putting pen to paper was the next logical step to satisfy my deep passion for the written word.

Teaching college level computer basics and software programs, and owning a software development company opened up a world of diverse experiences for me. This led to designing illustrations for work projects and more recently, creating characters for my children’s stories.

Doves On My Porch is the first in the Nana and Nono Runabout Adventure series. It all began as a story about doves for my grandchildren because Mourning Doves actually nested on my wicker chair! 'Nono' and I watched the whole process for six weeks until the babies hatched, learned to fly and were gone. It was just too exciting a project to pass up.

I have a very patient and supportive husband, two wonderful children, both of whom I am deeply proud, a daughter-in-law who is beautiful inside and out, two grandsons I adore, and a huge extended family.

I plan to continue writing as long I am able!
